Using Art to Address Corporate Misalignment

I started this series of paintings during a period of intense corporate training. I became aware of ‘the mess’ that many managers complain about. This mess is the misaligned systems that they work in.

It reinforces to me how art is not only decorative. It could also be a vessel for communicating roadblocks and bottlenecks. Art can convey customer and stakeholder challenges. It can also highlight erroneous decision-making that can occur.

I’ll be using these as part of a series of cards. They will be utilized when coaching client teams. This allows them to make marks that give voice to the tensions in organisational life that they face too.
