Clarifying three stories of the bookish hedonistic professional

I’ve been enhancing my photography. The aim is to tell a story in small vignettes. I’ve been learning from iconic professional photographers who specialise in products, lifestyle and jewelry photographs. I’ve learned my photography from various courses online and in classroom settings in London.

I’ve enjoyed learning from the teachers’ own funny 🤣 stories about working on shoots for top lifestyle, homes and fashion magazines.

However, I’m very early in my journey of lifestyle photography but I’mm realising how there are elemental overlaps with painting and art.

Considering frame alignment and depth of field

The bookish hedonistic professional vignettes are crisp clean interior shots showing how this individual moves about their favourite working from home places. It beautifully and artfully reveals their cosy corners, nattering nooks and delightful desk decor details not forgetting their wall decor that wows whenever they’re on a WebEx call to coach, lead or manage their amazing, friendly and high performing virtual team.

Working on reducing negative space and colour composition.

The bookish hedonistic professional, not only do they love novels from a wide spectrum of authors they appreciate the more unusual things about life from their specialist business reading. They have a collection of artifacts (gathered from non-touristy international travels) which they tend to keep in the background.

Making use of the light from photographing lighting. The glow fills the negative space so that light (highlights ) becomes form.

Our bookish hedonistic professional likes the world to know how they see the big patterns and themes as well enjoying the curious little details.

I hope you like the three vignettes I’m currently experimenting with to convey their style here.
