Noticing the artistic contribution in our everyday life.

I visited Covent Garden for a meal and did some shopping. There I also noticed how the artistic contribution features m in our everyday encounters. Sometimes we must look deeper to notice how the hidden artist gets to express their work through mundane things like our retail experiences and our eating out.

A balance of thought used to present this maple tart at Clos Maggiore.
Cool and crisp sense of volume, spacing and tone used for cosmetic product packaging in my Chanel and Aesop bags. BTW bought lipstick and mascara from Chanel and hair sculpt and body oil from Aesop.
Steak Tartare was delicious and looked exquisite. Amazingly sticking combinations of colour and forms in the dressing and the garnishment.
The carefully selected fine sculpture and skillful choosing and placing of an abundance of flowers in the decor made the Clos Maggiore restaurant in Covent Garden put on a stricking show of hospitality for us diners.

Thinking more about the artistic work gone into our everyday life makes me feel less isolated as an artist. It is soothing to realise there is a person with an artistic spirit making a positive contribution to our usual activities.
