Designing Certificate of authenticities

I’ve designed the back of my paintings so that proprietors get suggestions for styling as well as a certificate of authenticity and more.

The lucky recipient of these thought provoking pieces of artwork will also see that their copy has my hand signature and is dated. I do this for each one. There will also be special laser holograph seal of originality and there is a trim of familiar Home Office Charm colours of my Etsy online shop. The names might be slightly different to what can be seen in the image above because I’m aligning my excel sheet catalogue and conceptualising each of the 28 pieces at the same time.

Each pictures name nods to the cultured complexities in organisational life will amplifying the significance of graphical forms, patterns, textures and colours that I have sensed while interacting with people and their working life challenges and opportunities.

This picture shows development of the design mock up of the certificate of authenticity. Sans proper signature and originality seal. On the certificate of authenticity, there is also a space to write a special message to someone if the artwork is a gift to adorn a colleague’s bookshelf.

This week, there was a hold up in printing and listing as I realised my two printers need replacing because neither of them do air printing or wireless. A sign I must keep up with the tech of the time.

Anyway, thought you might enjoy seeing the other side of the paintings and why these few additionally valuable features are there. It strikes me that allowing space for grifters to write their messages to potential owners of my artwork is another way of authenticating the significance of work like relationships. Perhaps in years to come we can look back at the messages and get a broader sense of connection, attachment and positive impact that colleagues have on each other. I love that my work might help to express these basic needs of individuals working in a team, especially if the team has worked well. I feel encouraged that my art can also operate as a symbol of collegiate joy. The inspiration to this was born from a course i.m doing about teams and their psychology and what is a dysfunctional versus a high performance team,
