There you are! Blue abstract landscape digital

I was inspired by Andy Morris’s Mysty mountain which produced this painting below. The Abstract Landscape course has been on my wish list and I hadn’t got around to watching the full course yet after watching the preview.

Then because my PC has died and I’m saving for a new imac and in homage to my emerging creative talents, I was left with just my phone to tinker around the edge of the painting to make it look more presentable.

So using the phone’s digital capabilities I was pleased to discover another dimension.

A mysterious path has been created instead.

Angry cake

I’m currently on a weight management program and I have lost nearly one stone that’s five kilos or 14 pounds.

During the process I’ve been learning about the psychology of why we eat.

So I’ve been looking at emotional eating habits and how to break them.

So when I painted this image I couldn’t help thinking how angry it looks. Indeed when I created it I was angry because I was thinking of a difficult task I had to do and the circumstances that led to it.

So when deciding which digital image would go I thought the fairy cake was the most apt thing.

Being proud to show the rough with the smooth with blusher brush: coral and pink abstract

Does it look bashful to you? The fantasy flower in this painting appears to be slightly embarrassed.

I wonder why.

Perhaps it is because I used the big bold blusher brush to get all the emotion out to create those swirls.

There is no shame here. Be bold with your crimson connection. Personally I don’t see anything wrong with combining magentaish pink with understated and sultry coral.

Be proud we say!

Here is what the detail of it looks framed.

Shine on with your cool bold emblushered self.
